Trial Attorney.
At Loyola University School of Law Chicago Catherine received the prestigious Philip H. Corboy trial fellowship which is awarded to a handful of talented advocates. For two years, she trained under the tutelage of Chicago’s top trial attorneys. During that time she served as law clerk at one of Chicago’s most storied and successful personal injury firms, Corboy and Demetrio. Following law school Catherine immediately stepped into the courtroom in her position as associate at the Law Office of Cy Weiner, handling a wide range of cases from nursing home negligence, to medical malpractice, and equine law. She now heads her own firm with offices in Ocala, Florida and Lake Forest, Illinois.
Equestrian.
As a competitive equestrian, horse lover, and farm owner, Catherine recognizes the challenges facing today’s horsemen and women. Whether it’s drafting a valid release of liability or helping resolve a boarding dispute, Catherine offers solid legal advice and representation to her equine clients.
Business Owner.
Catherine owned and operated two travel companies, which specialized in food and wine travel all over the world. As a former small business owner, Catherine understands the challenges facing entrepreneurs in today’s environment. She knows what it takes to build a small business from the ground up and offers common sense advice to her clients. Her experiences across the globe have given her the opportunity to learn about other cultures.
